San Francisco has a great local music scene and I love to support local artists that I can see on a regular basis. I have no problem finding christmas or birthday gifts... a Loop!Station, Rube Waddell, Sean Hayes, Eric McFadden or Jolie Holland CD is always a good present. Then there are all the great performances like the Extra Action Marching Band, Cookie Mongaloid, Lord Love the Working Man or the Yard Dogs... to name a few. We are super lucky here in SF.
