Basically, Stone Temple Pilots' first album (Core), it's best out of all the rest in my opinion, opened my mind to the genre of Rock at the age of 16. If it wasn't for STP, I would've missed out on the Rock genre, all of its GREAT bands, and probably would still think that "Salt 'N Peppa" is a cool group.
