My music is very eclectic, I love jazz and almost all its sub-genres from Bop to Fusion to World music. I can get into various kinds of Gospel, New Age music, Blues(how can u really love jazz and not like the blues?) I enjoy listening to spiritual music also, whether it be contemporary gospel or Christian rock.
Music is just a language of expression, different kinds of people express themselves differently musically, you just have to listen intently to understand. Every type of music has some kind of hook that you can find common ground with. It may the articulation of notes and creative improvisation that jazz brings or the memories and/or expectations of the good love life when we listen to the sexy soulful stylings of slow neo-soul offerings that that folks like Jill Scott, Maxwell and D'Angelo give us.
My dream is to be a airway or online radio DJ. I have an excellent voice and gift for compiling great music for those whose musical tastes are in the funky smooth jazz/neo-soul, adult contemporary R&B groove.
