Trying to find my favorite kinds of music. If anybody has something good, I'll check it out.

I like the hip-hop sound and un-stupid rap.
I like messy, organic funk.
I like electronic music as long as it's not sterile or too discoish.
I'm trying to find some more rock that actually rocks or is at least well-written (Ra, Weezer...).
I need some direction with classical and metal.
Want to get into more African music, folk, and country of the old-fashioned vein.
I will explore blues and jazz much later.
Need some really old-timey artists.
