My favorite music, hands down, is ALTERNATIVE METAL. I can't pass up a wicked beat, ripping guitars riffs, and layered lyrics.

However, my music tastes are rather eclectic and I do occasionally listen to other music, ranging from "alternative" rock (Matchbox Twenty, Sarah McLachlan, Howie Day) to rock (Sting, U2, Goo Goo Dolls, Crowded House, Duran Duran) to orchestral soundtracks (Horner, Williams, Zimmer) to a smidgen of American and Japanese (hey, I like anime) pop music.
