Pandora's a great companion. I'm a voice over talent who works solo out of a microscopic sound studio overlooking the Corpus Christi Bay. My radio stations are gentle friends -- particularly my Pat Metheny tribute station -- while I glean my voice tracks and send them on their way to clients around the world via internet. And when nasty paperwork must be completed, then I stray from instrumentals to the soothing stylings and strange chromatisms of Todd and Joni on "Joni Rundgren Radio." I'm often surprised by what Pandora comes up with on this "frequency." And that's part of the fun of Pandora. Vanna White flipping her letterboxes to expose The Tubes or Yes (good)...then next it's Suzanne Vega or Dido (not so good and I skip or thumbs down).
