Grew up in Southern California listening to Yes, Led Zep, Jethro Tull, ELP... from there developed an interest in blues, classical, jazz that took me into and through my thirties.
Lived in Austin, Texas for a couple of years and found roots country, even had a couple of beers with the Derailers between sets at Babe's on Sixth St, enjoyed seeing Don Walser play Babe's and saw several shows by Asleep at the Wheel at the Broken Spoke. I was lucky enough to be at the Continental Club the night Dave Alvin recorded Interstate City.
Now in my mid-40's and loving the reissues, remasters, and unreleased material of all my 70's rock icons while I comb the used record stores and eBay for used LP's to replace those that have been lost over the years, and finding new acts (The Flower Kings) to add to my list of favorites.

Oh, yeah . . . Rush, Kansas, and especially Styx still suck just as bad as they did back in the 70's.
