Growing up in the- hmm..well giving away my age here, in the 60's, and the ever changing world, love, peace, flower power, the '68 Democratic Convention where we were jailed by the Chicago police were the highlights of my teen years, and the music was so important to all of us at that time. Chicago was and still is a very eclectic town and we were influenced at an early age by the Blues, seeing great artists play on Maxwell street, when it was Maxwell street.
Beatles, Dylan, Seger, Paul Simon, Stones, along with BB King, Muddy Waters. I always tended to gravitate to artists who had their own "sound" as my father taught me by playing Les Paul, Duke Ellington and the greats of his time. Of course Les Paul, to me anyway, is incomparable. Father, inventor of the multi-track recording, we would not have the music we have today. That's it about me right now.
