Most of the important thngs that ever happened in my life had the Dead playing in the background.Crosby Stills Nash and Young and Dylan influenced my life more than my parents. John Prine, and Jerry Jeff Walker sustained me through my college partying days.The Eagles were the only thing that got me through the horrors of the disco years.Seeing Bruce Springsteen at the New Orleans Jazzfest after Katrina was an emotional experience right up there withthe birth of my children.
I'm a special ed teacher, married 27 years, mom to two daughters.
Most pop music leaves me cold these days, but I do like the Killers, James Blunt, Dashboard Confessional.
