Bio:
Especially fond of a cappella groups that make good use of vocal percussion (or 'beatboxing', depending on the genre). Prefer upbeat a cappella groups to choral. So far I've discovered Toxic Audio, Tonic Sol-Fa, 4:2:Five, Ac-Rock, Singing Pinguins. Of course there are the "standards": Acapella, Rockapella, Nylons, Ladysmith Black Mambazo. I have a recording by Rockapella doing "Pachelbel's Canon" that is totally out of this world, not to be missed by fans of a cappella! Others like Ball in the House, House Jacks, The Blenders, Take 6, Boyz II Men, etc, I am still undecided on.
Other than a cappella, I like just about everything except the "hard" types of rock, hip-hop, current rap. My music tastes are pretty eclectic, Air Supply to ZZ Top.
Myself: 47 yr. old "retired" Air Force wife, separated-and-working-on-the-d i v o r c e ; mother of 3 (14, 22, 22). One of my twin daughters got married recently so I'm trying to get used to being a mother-in-law. Wonder when I'll be "Grandma" also!
I'm an information junkie. My motto: "The internet...the world biggest library...so much information, so little time!".
Other than a cappella music and the internet, hobbies are reading, learning to make beaded jewelry. Only sport I play is disc golf. I used to be quite a "mouse potato" but my computer was taking up too much of my time so nowdays I just think about logging on more often than actually doing so.
