Seraphic*gate is a senior in college majoring in English. She had plans to become a screenwriter, but due to various life circumstances she had to put that dream on hold. Nevertheless, she has been an artist and a writer for pretty much her entire life, and she will continue to share her ideas regardless of her career path. She is an anime nerd and loves any video game with an interesting plot and appealing characters. She abstains from taking part in the Final Fantasy generation wars; while FFVII will always be her favorite, she loves FFIV and V, as well. She is biased toward Japanese games since North American game plots tend to repeat the same formula of space marine/WWII/Lord of the Rings. However, she does like Western games like Prince of Persia, Assassin's Creed, God of War, and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. Despite her love for them, she does not play video games; she grew up watching her brothers play them instead. Somehow she developed a strange fascination with battle systems, henshin, choreography, and pyrotechnics in video games and anime. If a movie has a good fight scene, she will probably give that movie a chance, as well...unless the movie is too horrible to save even with big explosions.
That said, Sera has a very strange sense of humor that only her family seems to understand, and that sense of humor tends to make her love horrible movies like Mortal Kombat: Annihilation and Idle Hands for the wrong reasons. She likes open-ended, ponderous movies like The Fountain and navel-gazers like Texhnolyze, and a good psychological movie that requires repeat viewings also entertains her. The same rule applies to books, which probably explains why she actually likes Moby Dick.
