For myself, you can keep wondering. What music do I like? Heavy metal, the odd folk group, and some classic.
My favorite band is Judas Priest, flanked by Saxon and newly discovered Falconer (courtesy Pandora; thanks guys and gals!). Other groups I recommend: Black Sabbath, Rainbow, Deep Purple, Hammerfall, Jethro Tull, Iommi, and Thin Lizzy. Dragonforce is fast, but tiresome. If you want practically as hard stuff to try and play, check out Thin Lizzy. I pulled a muscle in my back trying to mess with one of their solos on the Emerald. Yes, I am a guitarist in the works. My favorite guitarists are Ritchie Blackmore and Tony Iommi. Vocalists are Rob Halford, Ronnie James Dio, and Matthias Blad.
