As a teenager I was Jimi Hendrix crazy, Led Zep, too. A drummer at age 13, I learned every song of both, inside out and back. Also listened to some Buddy Rich, mostly out of respect, but mainly I was a rock and roller. In the eighties I went to an English Beat show and learned to dance. GREAT live band. Got in to Ska. Some reggae. Early 90's found me in San Franciso clubs a lot, later a few raves. Late 90's I was all Jazz (KCSM), and got hot for Salsa. Was taking some timbali lessons when instructor invited me to play Samba in a gringo batucada. Learned SO MUCH with that group but it didn't pay, otherwise. I practice with the pad only these days :( but dream of getting an electronic kit, learning a little piano, and doing some tracks. (If only I weren't some sort of work-a-holic.) So, you see, musically I'm really all over the map--literally--having lived in various EU and Central American locales over the years :). Enjoy....
