I've fantasized since before (well, maybe I got there early) puberty about being able to make good music. Unfortunately I headed down the Jock road as most small town Okie boys did so never learned music or had the energy to get it on my own. My first career was to be as a disc jocky. Ha, used to practice the voice alot.
In all my years of listening to music I've found it's the stuff that evevtually falls into the Americana genre that is the best and is remembered. No matter where the artist originated, he or she became Americana.
