I absolutely love and appreciate music! I've had a connection with music since about the age of 5 and played acoustic guitar for almost 10 years. Music is an intrinsic and passionate part of me which I share with my husband who has an MS in Music.

I listen to all genres of music except Rap. When it comes to Jazz, Rock and R&B, and even the 50s, I'm almost guaranteed to enjoy, if not love. I really don't care for much that came from the 60s (I don't know why) and I enjoy a good part of the 70s. I LOVE 80s music (my teen years) and miss the real MTV! As for the 90s to present, I love it just as well, especially Dance/Club music. I get very selective, however, when it comes to Country music. My dad is a true Texan and I grew up listening to 70s and 80s country. I don't understand how today's country music can be called "country". Rock Country fits it best to me. Therefore, I prefer older country music.

What's missing? The music that has moved me the most: Classical and New Age! And finally, I don't listen to anything offensive or tasteless.
