I love ALL kinds of music, I can't even express how much music is a part of my life. My parents introduced me to all kinds of music from oldies, to Bubblegum, to stadium rock, to Michael Jackson! And music is always on at either work or home or in the car. While I love to sing and dance, I am good at neither, and that's okay. I'll pretend I'm good at something. ^.^
In terms of favorites, my favorite kind of music is 90's grunge and/or punk, I also like 70's stadium rock, and The Offspring is, hands down, my favorite band. I love their hard edge, but with a ribbon of humor and understanding. My favorite artist is Utada Hikaru and I have every one of her albums both in Japanese and English.
I am an aspiring author, and when I write I like to listen to Moby, Halou, Bassic, Collide, and Katatonia. Their yrics are beautiful and poetic, and the music just gives me such vivid images.
If I were to ever get drunk enough to sing and dance on a bar top, I would sing "Mr. Brightside" by The Killers or "Jessie's Girl" by Rick Springfield.
It's 'cause I'm classy... damnit.
