God, I love Joe Pernice. As a songwriter, Joe's work gives me instant inspiration when I listen to songs like Baby in Two or Saddest Quotient. Aside from the brilliant songwriting and musicianship , the mixing is always shiny, deep, interesting, and beautiful. So wonderful. And I have to give thanks to Pandora for introducing me to Joe's work a few years ago.

I would say this (at least the song "The Weakest Shade of Blue") sounds a lot like many other bands/artist s in the melodic/pop/ r o c k stylings of, say, The Beatles/McCa r t n e y . Reminded me of Michael Penn. But I enjoy a good melodic song like that.

wow I was going to bypass this song and then ..as I listened...I got the best vibe on them..like they would be so cool to be creative with and hang with...very cool sound.

I've been a huge fan of the scud mountain boys and the pernice bros. I think they are beyond compare.

I first came to hear PB by watching Gilmore Girls (the episode when Rory is listening to The Weakest Shade of Blue)... after that I quickly fell in love. :)
