Brings back those wonderful teen aged memories.
One of the first songs I heard after getting my first radio when I was nine in 1965. It was a clock-radio that replaced the noisy wind-ups we used to have. The song still sounds great.

Lost! Season 3!
I finally live in a town with this exact sort of downtown. In fact, I work in that downtown! It's an interesting experience. I don't think there are too many places like this any more, but I could be wrong.

This is definitely a good song to listen to when you're feeling down.
the downtown of my town isn't such a good place to be :), but I love the upbeat, rock tempo feel of this song. I also love quaint little shops you find downtown... and shopping...

When this song came out we lived in Burns, Ore; and yes, it did have a small but lively main street; its own downtown!
Such a bright, positive, uplifting idealistic song!

I don't even like congested metropolitan areas but this song actually makes me want to go visit one's 'downtown'.
