Pig

Raymond Watts, who performs under the name Pig, was one of the founding members of the performance art ensemble originally known as Kein Mehrheit für die Mitleid, which would only later develop a more musical focus and become known as KMFDM. He left that band in its early stages and, as Pig, released a number of albums, the first few on the Wax Trax! label, including the 1988 single "Never for Fun" and his debut LP, A Poke in the Eye...with a Sharp Stick, which also came out in 1988. The early albums represented the influences that he was under while living in Germany and doing work for bands like Einstürzende Neubauten. He would soon form a relationship with an A&R man at Alfa Entertainment, which released his albums The Swining and Red Raw & Sore. When Watts' A&R contact moved to Victor, Watts followed and issued several albums through them, including the 1995 full-length Sinsation. The music featured on Watts' albums has evolved over the years to become increasingly complex, incorporating German, British, and Japanese pop music elements and a variety of electronic idioms. His albums often incorporate three or four styles within the context of each song, alternating with works that are much more straightforward and listenable. In 1999, Cleopatra Records re-released the two Alfa albums, The Swining and Red Raw & Sore, as a single volume, resurrecting one of the strongest periods in his career. No One Gets Out of Her Alive followed in 2000. He also returned to KMFDM to play a supporting role on their Beat by Beat tour and help them record their seventh album, Nihil. ~ Stacia Proefrock, Rovi

Sensation album?
Raymond Watts is god :D
Or just say 'Raymond Watts is a GAWD' and be done with it.
Did the person writing the bio suddenly realize they were out of space? Seriously, Pandora, if you can't get a decent artist bio, just link to Wikipedia.
You know when you hear this guy... Evil.. \m/
warforger
The Voice is barely hearable and sounds like he's just grumbling. Perhaps I need to get used to ti since I like the riffs he comes up with, but for now I don't get it.
warforger
@Scott that's actually what it stands for, which is of course a typo since if you translate it it means No Majority For The Pity (Kein Mertheit Fur Da Mitleid )when it should be No Pity For The Majority (Kein Mitleid Fur Da Mertheit)but since they kept it like that it's stayed that way.
KING RAYMOND WATTS! A little tequila and lime and PIG for the day! He helped make KMFDM what it became and then did his own thing with PIG, which was just as great to listen to.
A name to be remembered in this genre for sure. A founder and innovator. Praise the lard!
Dude has one of the best voices in the genre. So distinctive.
This bio is not for KMFDM. It is for the founder of KMFDM who also does PIG. The two intermingle because it's the same person. Cripes people.
Also.... I wouldn't necessariy say that is a KMFDM pic in the bio. It's just Raymond, it's not like Capt'n K is in there too....
These idiots also messed up the *translation * of KMFDM. It's Kein MITLEID fur die MERHEIT. I can't believe they couldn't even get that right!
BLAH BLAH BLAH YOU'RE HURTING MY EYES SIT BACK AND LESSON
DUDE READ THE BIO ONE MORE TIME

PIG is raymond watts, who was a founding, and intermitent, member of KMFDM. When not in KMFDM he was doing this.
Love this, but WTF is up with the bio for KMFDM??? Even though these guys kick a**, they are not KMFDM. They are freakin' PIG. Hello, Pandora???
Yeah, but listen to the song, this sounds like KMFDM, almost identical... . t h e y guitar riff, the techno style beat, that even sounds like Sascha K singing. Is this a side project?
UMMM.... What the hell? The picture and bio is for KMFDM. Come on, Pandora... smarten up.
They have a KMFDM pic and the bio is theirs aswell....go d damn pandora needs to fix this s**t
Wait, why do they have a pic of KMFDM up for Pig? The Pig pic was just fine; why would they go and eff it up? That is an OLD pic of KMFDM they have in Raymond's place too haha :)
Pig rocks and so does kmfdm
Raymond Watts is an extremely talented musician, and the most creative song writer I've heard. The fact he can do most of his work solo, and still be one of the best industrial artists alive shows his skill. Not to mention his collaboratio n with KMFDM played a big role in juke joint jezebel which made the band popular.
Kneel Before The Lord Of Lard!!!!!!!
i prefer pig over kmfdm. and if you like foetus try the hard to find steroid maximus, for some great collaboratio n .
i prefer KMFDM, but this dude still rocks. Pigmata is one of my favorite albums =P
Wrecked and Pigmata are phenomenal albums. To appreciate Watts is to appreciate an enigmatic talent not yet replicated or copied. I think he has a distinct sound that sets him apart from many wanna-be's.
And who writes these bio's? There are an embarrasing amount of inaccuracies in some of them- some on Raymond's here, too.
Watts has always been KMFDM2. I haven't seen him in a number of years but he used to put on a great live show.
Yeah, actually pretty good stuff, but nothing really sticks out to me. KMFDM has a lot more distinctiven e s s . Good nonetheless.
Although it doesn't say it, Watts is also CURRENTLY a part of KMFDM, and has taken part in their last 4 albums.
