Rock-'n-Roll; were it not for it, I probably would not be alive today or at the very least, I would be a very different person. In addition to Rock-'n-Roll in all its forms, I love what I like to call "Indigenous Music": specifically, blues, bluegrass, Colombian, Andean, Celtic, African, and other countries other continents. I love, love, love the American Songbok as sung by the likes of Nat King Cole, Chet Baker, Sarah Vaughn, Louis Armstrong and Fred Astaire. Jazz by the likes of Keith Jarrett, Nat KIng Cole Trio and Fats Waller. Lastly, classical music, which can be sublime in spite of its general pomposity. Long live The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Who and Led Zeppelin. Long live Ronnie Lane. Long LIve Chet Baker.
"Man does well to weep upon arriving on the Earth;
Never his eyes would he open would he but know the place of his birth."
by Jorge Isaacs, Colombian Poet.
