i grew up in Beloit, Wi and spent 20 years of my life living there. I completed a BS degree in River Falls, WI and worked for a while in St. Paul, MN and Madison, WI before I decided to give away most of my belongings, quit a good job, and move out to Seattle, WA without any jobs lined up or any type of secured situation. I've been in WA for 3 years now and love it! While in College I dj'd with my friend and roommate mike at the college station for 4.5 years. our radio show was titled "the deadair show", about a year after we started a "candyass" mtv reality show did an episode where they dj'd and took the same show name. does mtv even have anything to do with music anymore? b**tard still suck. during the college days I attended an average of 60 concerts per year. After college I fronted a band for 3 years. Unfortunately my number of concerts dwindled to around 40 per year. Now I go to about 4 a year. Currently I am starting to ramp up to start a new music project with one of my old band members. Got my fingers crossed that it will work out well. I'm by no means a talented musician. I am however creative and feel I have a good insights. We'll see what happens.
my interest in music started when I was about 4 years old. i liked the beach boys, alabama, the oak ridge boys, and random oldies. largely a taste built from parental influence. as a teenager i was a rock bottom hopeless romantic. during that period i listened to brian adams, bon jovi, def leppard, and journey. yeah i know pretty pathetic but we all have our closet bands. in college it seemed as though i was finally born. i purchased my first cd about 10 years after most everyone else had. that first cd was the "core" album by stone temple pilots. a large improvement you'd have to admit. i became obsessed with music and about two years later had around 200 cds. my influences became nine inch nails, nirvana, alice in chains, the smashing pumpkins,
