Have interests in a wide variety of music but am keenly fond of superlative guitar artists, particularly, rhumba-style flamenco, European classical, and that which is against a soft beat with piano.That all started with Brazilian artists in the bossa nova era - still one of my favorite genres, all the way back to Luiz Bonfa. Enjoy the 'Julie London' sound as well and piano artists like Dave Grusin, David Benoit et al. Favorite guitar artist/songwriter team: Nick Webb (untimely, sad death) & Greg Carmicheal of ACOUSTIC ALCHEMY. Absolutely unique. As well, artist Danny O'Keefe. Danny interprets, creates and sings of 'Americana' better than any musician since Bob Dylan. He is a magician with his lyrics, tune-smithing and style and is, in my humble opinion, still one of our very best American artists today - and since the 70's. I'm a HUGE fan of Danny O'Keefe! As I age, my tastes are beginning to include more 'EURO' jazz artists as well - good stuff across that pond. Also, Chris Cross and Gilbert O'Sulli
