I like music, sewing, good food and chilling out with music when I spend time in my sewing room, car, or just to relax. I love Elvis, I have listened to Elvis my entire life; he is my teenage memories, dating, friends and some of the best fun I had when I was young I was listening to Elvis. I still look at his pictures and wish that he didn't have to be called home to be with the Lord. Today, I'm just a poor old working soul, trying to get by like the rest of the world; working as a registered nurse, taking care of our veteran's but at the end of day........I still like music, the music I listened to when I was young takes me back to a time when all was great! A time when teenagers drove 55 Chev, girls wore can-cans and poddle skirts and pony tails. In Dec, I will be 60 and I can say I'm still enjoying life, music, and my family and career. Oh, I forgot to include that I went to college and obtained a degree in nursing at the age of 51 and graduated with honors. I held down a full time job working the 11-7 shift and traveled 62 miles round trip to school. Yes, I listened to music the whole time, I think it empowers a person; puts a spring in the step and a smile on the face. Thank God for all the great artists, but I will always hold a speacial place in my heart for Elvis.
