I came of age musically in the late 60's and early 70's.I love Chicago style blues (the post world war II sound), classic rock, be-bop style jazz, some rap (i.e.Public Enemy), old school funk and R&B. Clapton is my favorite rock artist. He recorded his best stuff during a 10 year period (1969 thru 1979). His best live stuff is on the Crossroads II, Live in the Seveties box set. For all Clapton fans, if you haven't read his recent autobiography, please do so. It's an eye opener. He does not withhold anything about his life or his music.
