I prefer hard rock and metal, with a melodic vocalist (TOOL, Flaw, American Head Charge) but i enjoy many genres that incorporate a dance beat and allow the listener to experience a positive vibe.. be it blues to techno i got respect for anything that invokes emotion and inspiration on almost any level. Few things affect me as music does. Perhaps being a pisces plays a part in this but i experience things in my life on an emotional level usually first to the mental or spiritual. While listening to a particular band or song at the time of the experience an attachment is made on a subconscious level. Months or even years later the same emotions can come into play just from hearing part of the song i listened to at the time. To me that is powerful. I used to sing in a band, but am currently working independantly of other musicians. To be honest with myself and my band, I had to take a break to focus on my family and their needs. I love music, second to my purpose of being useful to others. I hope to bridge the gap in the future, and find a way to make an equal contribution in all the areas of life where my passions reside.
