I'm a lover of old school music; I can feel it.EW&F, The Commodores, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, Otis Redding, Teddy Pendergrass, Michael Jackson, James Brown,The Isley Brothers, Stevie wonder, Chaka Kahn, just a few, right. What you know bout that? I also love jazz musicals(Kenny G on that sax-DAMN!) Luther Vandross, Whitney Houston, Aleshia Keyes, and Anita Baker are my most favorite. Lately, I've come to enjoy Mary J. Blige(she has a beautiful,real, true spirit that I admire) Jaheim and Anthony Hamilton are on my list for sure(Brothas expressing life through their songs;real men) I will always enjoy gospel: Shirley Caesar(my true inspiration) Marvin Sapp, Smokey Norful, James Fortune to name just a few. Music is a great pastime for me.It easily allows me to escape and I love that.I need that. Music is medicinal, its an absorbant of love, passion, mind, body and soul. It extracts of all the troubles, fears, sickness, and hate. It's beautiful. Music is my REAL. Yeah! Now I would be wrong if I say I don't listen to some of the young artists(It depends on the situation and the mood,ok.)
