Retired to Garden Valley, in El Dorado County, California, in 2007. "Jack" the beagle dropped by the house one day and stayed on, so he and I been picking and singing folk, country, and old-timey music ever since. Co-founder of the Honky Tonk Assylum Band and Choir band. We have been playing a fairly loose genre in El Dorado County for the past four years. It gets tighter from time to time as our likes, dislikes and talents keep evolving. I hope it lasts forever...the guys are great. You can catch us at the Mountain Democrat's parking lot when the wagon train rolls in on June 11th, or on the deck of the "Forester" in Camino this summer. Leon and I continue to duo at farmer's markets in the county and nearby Folsom. I really enjoy solo'ing at the Senior's Center in Placerville where the crowd is great to just be with. All in all, I hope everyone could have as good a life as mine is.
