I'm a 16 year old aspiring guitarist, I'm good at the blues and power/prog metal, I'm decent good at rock and I'm working on funk, folk, jazz, and classical/flamenco. I would consider myself intermediate-advanced, I'm probably the second best at my school for the best. On a side not theres at least a few dozen people I know that are way better than me that i only wish I could play like. I've only been playing for 3 years and I've never had a teacher, so I guess I'm pretty good for that, and I've learned to keep time and jam, (unlike some other "good" guitarists). I like almost everything, other than soulless pop crap, dull, musically uninteresting rap, disco, and techno, atonal progressive and emo, and 99% of country. I find that when the poetry(lyrics) or the sport(shredding) of music is more important than the music itself, that the depth is often lost, but i can still stand it. I do a lot of other stuff but thats a good summary when it comes to music.
