Hey, all. I'm kagitsune. My dad played classical music on the radio all the time while I was younger, setting me up for a love of music throught my life. Nowadays, I listen to everything from Gershwin to Asian Kung-Fu Generation, from BT to Yokko Kanno. I love the visual and crafty arts (Digital painting, sewing, costume design, etc.), but I've tried my hand at a little music mixing, too. I use the software Sony Acid and Mac's Garageband for this kind of thing. This summer, I'm learning how to play acoustic guitar. I was inspired to start by the Japanese "Visual Kei" symphonic metal band VERSAILLES and their two incredibly skilled electric guitarists: HIZAKI and TERU. Just to give you an idea of how good these guys are, I *did not listen to metal music* before I was introduced to Versailles (and subsequently saw them play live in Dallas). Steve Wilson of Porcupine Tree, Miyavi, Hiro of the Polysics, and Ottmar Liebert also got me interested in playing the guitar. If any of you read this, THANK YOU!!!! ^^
