I am a wireless engineer for Ericsson working @ Sprint & work in their Philly switches for 11+ years & have been in the Telecom field now for 36 years since I was 16. I work nights Sunday PM -Friday AM & don't really like night work other than the money I make. On weekends I am a professional musician & I play in a band called 'Relative Matter'. We play everything from the 50's up to now & do a lot of Beatles, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Fuel, Reggae, just about anybody & anything including originals! Our schedule can be found @ www.myspace.com/relativematter but our site needs a lot of work! We're playing a LOT of summer festivals this year including opening for Toulab Krewe & John Browns Body @ Pet Zoo Fest (8/7) & opening for Garaj Mahal & Keller Williams @ Stir Fry Fest (9/3&4) & we do a lot of weekend gigs we play at as well! I love all types of music but not ganster rap! I've been fortunate as I got to see the bands Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, & Lynyrd Skynyrd back in their primes in the 70's which really gave me a good appreciation of good music! I've also been fortunate enought to meet Asia, GTR, & YES as they rehearsed for their US Tour in Lititz, PA back in the 80's & I opened up for the Hooters, Blues Traveler, & played harmonica with the original Wailers @ the TLA in Philly as well as hanging out & jamming with Richie Havens in a campsite once which was cool. I also hosted an open mic @ Whiskey Dix in Center City Philadelphia next to the Electric Factory & right after the Philadelphia Music Awards the artist came in to where I was playing & I played Comfortably Numb & didn't realize Eric Bazilian (Hooters) was the one playing my 12 string & Chubby Checker, Patty LaBelle, & Pink were all singing backups which blew my mind as I had no clue who these people were who jumped on stage w/me! LOL!. I play 6 & 12-string acoustic guitars, electric guitar, mandolin, harmonicas, & percussion with some keyboards & lead & backup vocals. Music is me!!
