I grew up listening to my Mom's favorite music from WWII. In grade school I had a crush on Roy Rogers and loved the music he and Gene Autrey sang. I loved Andy Williams and Perry Como and never missed their TV shows.I also saw the first concert by the Beatles on Ed Sullivan, was enchanted by Simon & Garfunkel, Of course I loved Herb Albert, the show tunes of Rogers and Hammerstein, and was intrigued by the talent of Dion Warwick and the great songs by Bacharach....oh also plain ol' Bach! I loved the sappy Carpenters, Judy Collins and her angst, and was among the many that liked good ol' John Denver.. I never dug Elvis or Michael Jackson, but the final result is I have a very eclectic taste in music. I love that I can put together all my favorite genres and personalized stations on Pandora!
