I consider myself a child of Rock and Roll. I was a teenager in the late 80's and early 90's. I rocked to everyone from Poison and Bon Jovi to Journey and Rush to Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd to Megadeth and Metallica to Slayer and Gwar. My mom has a picture of me in kindergarten in 1980 wearing a Kiss shirt. I can remember being in second grade the first time I saw C*m on Feel the Noiz by Quiet Riot on MTV when it was a baby. I knew at that point it didn't matter what kind of music I was listening to as long as it was Rock. But my heart truly belongs to the awesome and profound early 90's Seattle grunge. Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Soundgarden was the music that defined who I am. Their music got me through some rough times and hung with me through some great times. Rest in peace,Layne. Rest in peace, Kurt. To the rest, keep rockin and thanks.
