I have a big love for almost anything 70's, pop music, Beatles, Partridge Family, David Cassidy, Alabama, Paper Lace, Pilot, Elton John, those are just a handful of names that come up from that magic hat, that most of us who come out of the 70's would remember. Bad Boys of Rock n'Roll Mick Jagger's Rolling Stones,there are just so many tunes that stike at he heart of what was prouably the most fascinating decade of 70's music ever. We lived, our generation rocked Nation, we started a Revolution in the music industry and among many forms of what would be considered social norms, would now be changed forever. The social claims were more moderate, if looking back to what music was discussing back in the 50's, the music was so much more idealistic, sweet and often with messages of wholesome moderate sense. The 60's still carried with it, a sense of sweetness, but the influence of The Beatles and the sense that people were talking about things that were not necessiairly moderate. The Beatles set a stage for more moodiness in music, and direct relations with the characters in thier song. As music continued to change and show a wide range of vocals, from the likes of Janis Joplin, to Jimi Hendrix, to Diana Ross, to Gladys Knight,Olivia Newton John, so many songs to contemplate, and they just keep getting better. But my alligance will always be to those young years, with a box of cereal in front of me, trying to figure out, what puzzel to do, or do something intelligent like read the ingredients, no I was not so prone. But...there we were a generation of newbies, floating around, in pajamas, watching first The Brady Bunch, then The Partridge Family. Life was good, Danny Boundauce was so cute, who could not resist his funny antics, but it was David, that got the attention, he was dreamy.
