I'm a really big fan of music of the Top 40 Era. I have a 82 GB iTunes library! I like almost anything except rap and really hard rock. I am also a fan of 45 RPM B-Sides, where I've found a lot of burried gems. My iTunes library contains my own 18 volume CDR series "Hits and Flips" which I made from my 45s for my own personal listening. That's over 180 A/B Sides. Here are just five examples of great A/B-Sides: "The Archies - Sugar, Sugar/Melody Hill"; "The Ventures - Hawaii Five-O/Soul Breeze"; "The Flirtations - Nothing But a Heartache/How Can You Tell Me"; "Cher - Gypsys, Tramps and Thieves/He'll Never Know"; "Kim Wilde - Kids In America/You'll Never Be So Wrong". It's an idea that I think these compilation recording companies should get into. B-Sides are not throw-away trash! As of my father's passing in March of 2007, my musical interests have expanded to include the modern sound of today's Christian / Gospel music. It's definately NOT your grandfathers church music, more like God's Alternative Popular.
