The music I love. This is a complicated subject. I could not carry a tune in a bucket, yet I have identified with music my whole life. Often times the emotions I'm feeling can be better expressed in a song then with words. I listen to music constantly. I love Metal; I have always been into the heavy stuff. This is the first type of music I identified with as my own. I was one of those kids who said rap sucked! And I hated Country. Then a strange thing happened. I moved away. I realized I knew a vast catalogue of music. I listened to allot of Hank Williams as a kid, Mexican, Tejano (not the same thing) old country, old r&b, funk, bluegrass, blues & a little jazz. Thanx MOM . In the army I discovered punk, ska, reggae, more metal, industrial, Goth and other forms of music from the 90's Alternative movement. I realized that the music from my youth did not suck as much as I thought. I was just acting out. I longed to hear the songs of my youth as much as my new discoveries. I love everything that sounds good. There are very few types of music I do not like, mainly if it is good musically, different, has good lyrics or a good hook I’m down with it. I like my music to be different. I love to introduce others to things they would normally think they do not like. I hate corporate pop bands. (Journey, Boston, hair metal, blink 182, you know the crap that is constantly shoved down your throat!!!)
