I'm a hungry, omnivorous listener with ever-evolving musical infatuations. After years of feasting on Gypsy and Balkan music, with heavy doses of other Eastern European sounds, I am now gravitating toward tamer pastures of Classical Music. My current favorite station on Pandora is Raimundo Penaforte and Charles Ives. Of course, I still snack on New York downtown favorites like Frank London, John Zorn and others, as well as classical crossover, like some Kronos recordings, Tin Hat Trio, and my favorite artist of all times, the composer/violist [artist]Ljova[/artist] (a bit biased on that one ;) And I still love listening to my first music love, klezmer music. Favorite klezmer artists include the Klezmatics and anything else with Frank London, Kroke, the Klez Dispensers (again, biased there), Michael Alpert, and many more.
