Mr Gene has always been my idol for many years. I worked two Radio Station's in Worcester and was with a Country Band for several years.Many Sundays we spent entertaining at Indian Ranch in Webster, Mass. Had met Gene and his staff on several occations when he came to Worcester and Boston. I still have my alblum of pictures of Gene and his group I took and his staff took pictures of Gene and I together. I also have a lovely picture of Pat Buttrum and Gail Davis with me. Also have a picture I took of my niece Patty ( who is 54 years old today) when she was three years old sitting on Champion in his stall at the show. My wonderful memories of the special dinner's I attended with Gene and the staff at the Hilton where they stayed. He was a quiet but wonderful person. God Bless him. He will be remembered forever. Now I sing only in my church and I am retired and married to a wonderful man. I am now 72 years old and my husband is 78. I also showed Horses for many years. I finished a beautiful Paint mare to Grand Champion. Showed her Halter, Western Pleasure and Reining. This was one of my favorite hobbies, plus sewing and singing.
