I'm a survivor of the immensely versatile era Of true music evolution spanning from the late 70's to the latter 90's.These were the great times for me as I had the opportunity to experience so much variety in my music and my own life experiences,(granted a great deal of it is sketchy and blurred at best).Every time I hear one of these gems I'm instantly yanked back to another place and time....The people, parties, girls and a much younger me that I can now laugh at.Good s**t.I wouldn't be who I am now without it all.I love all the music that reminds me of who I was and who I am,even when it sucked.I kinda feel bad for the kids out now just starting the same parade of crazy life-s**t that will define them. Our cultural ideals have become a bubbling pot of hopelessly anal contradiction and confusion. There's so many a**holes telling them who they have to be and how to "become",that in order to be an individual with their own mind, they have to accept that the price is to be branded as a non-conformitive(and possibly mentally unstable)person.C'mon!Let's give our kids the same opportunities we had.
