It is taking longer than expected to fetch the next song to play.
The music should be playing soon.

I've had a long strange journey to get where I am. I started in the sciences, and after getting my masters in microbiology I found myself matriculating into law school. I'm an odd duck with a passion for Taekwondo, Greek food, and the cool, crisp air that happens only in a New England autumn.
My musical tastes are somewhat eclectic. I still buy CDs and have approaching 500. It used to be an odd mix of hard and classic rock that I spun. I have a great love for U2 and Pink Floyd, and this led me away from hard rock as a friend introduced me to dredg, Kaura, and the myriad Steven Wilson projects like Porcupine Tree and Blackfield.
It got very expensive buying music to keep me from going crazy as I wrote my dissertation. I burned the free-load on Pandora for a month in about a week, and wound up with PandoraOne (worth every penny). Shortly thereafter, an old friend turned me on to FourTet. I have a station simply called FourTet radio that is one of the best sources of background tempo I've ever experienced, and it's often the soundtrack as I work.
I love music enough that I went to great lengths to wire my small Boston apartment in a very obnoxious way, and I'm damn proud of it. I run Creative X-Fi Xmod transmitters and receivers to pump music into each room. I am sure my neighbors hate me, but my general stress level is fast alleviated by high-clarity digital sound massaging my senses wherever I am - even on my very small porch.
I hope this was not too pretentious. Feel free to give a listen to my stations or send me something interesting to read.
