I see music as a medium that every human experiences. While there is most likely one genre that each person fits into, I find that few like to be "pigeon-holed" into one particular style of music. Like sampling beer or wine, music is a habit that we work on, study and acquire specific tastes for. I've always thought of myself as a hardcore-punk rocker at heart, but aggression and anarchy is not my inspiration for music. Since the advent of the internet, it's becoming more and more hard for the listener (amateur-veteran) to find their "music roots", especially in Rock. I've joined Pandora.com so to help me on the road to accomplish this (or at the least, learn about new & old bands.
