On the Paradise Island of St. Ann, Jamaica, where the sound of musical rhythms are always playing on every street corner, comes the vibrant pulsating Reggae music of Black Uhuru , Bob Marley and the Wailers, Steel Pulse, Sean Paul and now King Hopeton an aspiring icon for the people of the WORLD .
Horace Campbell (King Hopeton) was born in a very humble environment on the 25th of March with the manifestations of God in him and the love for music remaining constant in his life. In his early childhood, he would spend time in the church playing the drums and organ, and singing. Additionally, he played a wide array of other musical instruments, which he played with great detail and commitment. He also played at weddings and funerals--even at his own High School graduation.
King Hopeton knew what he wanted and was willing to make the necessary sacrifices in keeping with his belief, while focusing on the music and entertainment industry. He grew up in the early days of music when the digital era was not prevalent.
