I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE MUSIC. Music makes me feel complete; it makes me happy when I"m sad, it gives me hope when I'm despondent, it helps me remember the good things in the world when I forget. Nothing is more exciting to me than finding a song that is new to me that I love. I am, in the words of Ms. Jackson, an "R&B Junkie." I love classic soul. I'm a fan of the neo soul movement, but still I love modern R&B. I don't really like an overuse of Autotune, I love to hear the raw emotion and grittiness in the voices of musicians. I particulary like artists who are able to convey their emotions effectively in their music with semi-husky, scraggly voices, or those with silky smooth vocals. Some of my favorite artists of all time are: Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Debelah Morgan, Destiny's Child (and each one of it's members), Janet Jackson, Kelly Price, Melissa Jimenez, Leona Lewis, Boyz II Men, Brian McKnight, Alicia Keys, TLC, Blaque, Michael Jackson, Minnie Riperton, Roberta Flack, Aretha Franklin, The Supremes, and the list will go on forever . . .
