I haven't been able to pigeon-hole my musical taste yet, though it's definitely pretty narrow. My favorite songs seem to be categorized as industrial, EBM, synthpop, or alternative rock. However, I'm coming to realize that what's being called "futurepop" is embodying my aural fixation best. If it's got a fast beat, a plethora of rhythms, and the vocalist isn't too whining or obnoxious, I may enjoy it. These are the bands I usually grin when I hear (some more from the memories associated with them than their similarity to the others): -Nine Inch Nails -KMFDM -Ministry -Gravity Kills -Metallica -Front Line Assembly -Stabbing Westward -Pride and Fall -Funker Vogt -Marilyn Manson -Mortiis -Rob/White Zombie -Rammstein -Imperative Reaction -VNV Nation -Neuroticfish -Assemblage 23 But I'm usually bored out of my gourd by these bands that everyone lumps in with them: -Nitzer Ebb -Kidneythieves -Wolfsheim -Apoptygma Berzerk -Beborn Beton -Front 242 -Haujobb -Die Krupps
