I'm a fan of all kinds of music, but my true love is electronic music. Everything from Broken Beat/Lounge/Downtempo/Nu-Jazz to Atmospheric Drum & Bass to Deep House to Progressive House/Breaks to Nu-Breaks. I started around 1993, and grew up (clubwise) in the Orlando, FL rave scene of the early 90's. In those days for me it was mostly all about breakbeats. The Abyss,Aahz & Firestone were some of the clubs we frequented at that time. However, due to the craziness of the scene at that time, coupled with a new found faith, I eventually felt that I needed to step away from not only the scene but much of electronic music as well. During that somewhat extended hiatus from dance music I really developed a love for Jazz music. I learned to appreciate the elegance of Jazz, a quality that I find is quite unique to that particular artform. Eventually my love for dance music led me to start checking out club music once again, only this time around, fueled by a new found love of Jazz, I gravitated more toward the mellower side of electronic music, particularly the heavily Jazz influenced sounds of House, Lounge/Downtempo and Nu-Jazz. Approaching music from a more open mind than I had during my early clubbing years allowed me to be open to House rhythms whereas I had previously been very closed to the House sound. In the words of Sunshine Jones, "It uuhh, took me a little longer to let House seep in, but...you know..when I did ahh...I fell in loooove!". Thats certainly not to say that I don't love all kinds of electronic music, but I would say that for me, the root of it all is House. So my stations are an attempt to show you exactly the kinds of electronic music that I have come to love, with a little of the alternative rock music of my earlier youth thrown in, as well as a Christian station that I listen to when I want to listen to something for spiritual benefit. I'm enjoying using this little Pandora toy I've found and I am constantly trying to fine tune
