"Who am I?" I don't hear you ask since this is the Internet and we're communicating through the medium of text? So glad you (didn't actually ask)ed! I'm basically a gigantic nerd - I built my first computer when I was 8, was reading at a college level when I was 9, own a video-game collection IGN tells me is worth over 6 grand, and I read more sci-fi novels per year than most people might read over the course of their natural lifespan (120 Warhammer 40,000 books in 2008!). I'm a bit of a movie buff/film snob, and I've recently taken up playing PnP D&D (I've been playing D&D CRPGs for years, just not the table-top variety). I freaking love Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Joss Whedon's other shows (I have them all on DVD!). I spend more time on the Internet than could really be considered healthy. I mention all this up front to hopefully dissuade anyone who might be inclined to misguidedly call me a nerd in the hopes of insulting me - that won't work, I will take it as a tremendous compliment. Nerd pride! I'm also a classically trained pianist and I was in a showchoir for 7 years (the singing I've kept up, the dancing not so much), so if/when I insult a band you like, I'm critiquing it both as a listener and as a fellow musician/performer. When it comes to music, I have eclectic tastes, hence why I have a station devoted solely to classical music and one ranging from mellow folk/pop to heavy metal, with dashes of electronica, hard rock, and instrumental thrown in for good measure. You know, for science. Albums I own: 618 Albums I've acquired since I started using Pandora: 582 Verdict: Pandora is <b>awesome</b>. Also I have poor impulse control.
