started out getting bitten by rock and roll in grade school with the 60's english invasion (the beatles, the who, the kinks, the rolling stones) then during high school expanded into Neil Young, Grateful Dead, Dylan, Traffic, Stephen Stills, Graham Nash, David Crosby and all that, and then Elton John, Yes, Genesis, Todd Rundgren, Led Zepplin, David Bowie, Lou Reed, with sidetrips like Uriah Heep, Bloodrock, Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, Wishbone Ash, Badfinger, Wings, etc...Got into punk and power pop in a big way in '78-'81. Explored Eno, Roxy Music, Fripp, Ayers, Hillage and all that odd stuff highlighted by Roy Harper who (along with Gary) are seminal artists that deserve a wider audience and who have contributed much "heart" and "soul" to the world of music.
