I love music.
My comfort to the endless tears. My source of energy on the mornings I don't want to face the world. The only friend I have when everyone ignores me.
I'll listen to anything with the exception of country. I just can't stand their accents and the twangy instruments. My sister and I were driving to Vikingfest last weekend and we stopped on a country station, and this country singer started rapping in the middle of his song. Which, you know, is just wrong on so many levels. Country + Rap = Crap.
I'm really into the sound of Linkin Park, 3OH! 3, White Tie Affair, Three Days Grace, and my favorite, Hollywood Undead. My favorite songs by HU are "This Love, This Hate," "California," and "Sell Your Soul." I think it's really cool how they can pull off multiple genres all at once and make it sound really cool.
I also like most gangsta rap, especially Jay-Z. I like his song "Dirt off Your Shoulder" a lot.
Pop can be okay... Britney Spears and Lady GaGa are fun to dance to even though they have no real quality to their music. I doubt quality is a word you could use to describe someone who looks for a legal excuse to proclaim "F**K ME!" (Britney Spears' "If U Seek Amy.")
If you know of some really cool music, lemme know. Comment me =]
