The Story, The Music... Brian is more than just your typical Vermonter with his blue jeans and Birkenstocks. Brian is a compassionate individual who portrays his triumphs and tragedies simply with his voice and acoustic guitar. He has a passionate desire to move you, make you think, and help you feel something. Brian Theoret, the lead singer, songwriter and guitarist for the acoustic folk-rock duo The Barlow Saints hails from the quiet hills and rolling fields of St. Albans, Vermont. His passion is his music, but his priorities are his family, friends, and loved ones. When performing, Brian pours all of his emotions out onto the canvas. He takes his homespun and rustic narratives along with his acoustic guitar and takes you on a journey of the trials of life with his coarse yet sophisticated melodies. Throughout his journey, Brian was always drawn towards the music of such singer/songwriters as Martin Sexton, and Damien Rice and the likes of Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Brian has always had a passion for music that speaks to people. In the end, he is a man with a guitar, singing for hope, with a pair of blue jeans and Birkenstocks and one part neck tie. In a few words, Brian is an inviting smile inducing dreamer. This Just In... The Barlow Saints are really excited and are currently in the studio working hard on their debut album, Chasing Daylight.
