I am a middle-aged male working in the profession of pharmacy. I play piano and organ, and also sing. Music brings me great enjoyment.
My musical tastes run mostly toward acoustic sounds, with leanings toward jazz, Celtic, folk, bluegrass and small ensembles of classical music from the Baroque period. I like classical organ music played on a large pipe organ.
One of the most recent discoveries I have made in the world of jazz is Diana Krall. She has a great voice for singing jazz and plays brilliant piano accompaniments for her recordings.
I am also a great fan of Bela Fleck in all of his areas of performance, from jazz to bluegrass to classical (as found in his Grammy-winning recording of 2001 titled "Perpetual Motion").
There is so much good music in the world that nobody need settle for the mind-numbing garbage that passes for music in some places.
