I remember my older brothers and the other "big kids" listening to a lot of late 50's and early 60's music on their transistor radios. Between that and Looney Tunes, I fell in love with music at an early age. Then came The Beatles, and everything changed! Music became so much more exciting to me, and to the many many bands that followed, and to the many many young people listening to these bands. Yet through all this enjoyment and fascination with music, I didn't seriously take up and instrument until the mid 70's when I heard a couple guys on my college campus playing incredible instrumental guitar arrangements by the likes of Leo Kottke, Rev. Gary Davis, Doc Watson, Mississippi John Hurt and others. That started my real musical journey, and I've been an acoustic guitar addict ever since.
